About Luigi


Drawing clarity out of complexity is what Luigi Benetton does for a living. This Toronto-based freelance writer and editor makes sure your audience understand your message.

A communications professional for over ten years, Luigi writes web copy, white papers, manuals, newsletter articles, white papers, and a variety of other materials. Also, Luigi contributes to a variety of periodicals, including Computing Canada, Canadian Grocer, Squash Magazine, and Centre of the City.

Research and interview skills go hand-in-hand with producing first-rate writing. At times, Luigi also reaches into his language toolkit to interview people in Italian, French and Spanish to round out his work without having to resort to interpreters.

Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, a certificate in French as a Second Language from Laval University in Quebec City, and a certificate in Technical Writing from York University in Toronto. Luigi has also attained certificates in adult instruction.

Luigi is an executive member at large of the Professional Writers Association of Canada and a member of the Toronto Debating Society. He holds certificates in Technical Writing from York University and French as a Second Language from Laval University in Quebec City.
